Established a Programme Management Office to support a 2-3 year Supply Chain transformation programme for a specialty steel manufacturer (Charter Steel) in Wisconsin, USA. Following a Supply Chain Excellence assessment, 14 closely interrelated projects were identified; and the client needed to develop programme and project management skills to deliver. Conducted a Project Management Maturity Assessment (against an augmented set of PMI disciplines) for the organization to baseline their capabilities and created a skills development plan. Provided one-on-one training and mentoring for their Programme Manager, introduced basic programme management processes, methods and tools. Established project and programme reporting structures and templates, including a programme dashboard. Also provided Sponsor and Steering Committee training to their executive team.
