I led the ACC Online programme over the critical first 7 months, taking the programme from a high-level strategy through to establishment of the programme as a fully functional delivery team across three work streams, with over 40 full time staff and contractors, as well as a number of service vendors. The three work streams were: the delivery of “quick win” tactical initiatives; the complete overhaul of the ACC website; and the development of a strategic roadmap to deliver the long-term online solutions. In parallel, I drove the development of a comprehensive business case with a benefits realisation plan, to support the programme and secure funding. The challenges included delivering a number of in-flight projects that had been languishing before the programme started and working within a post-restructure environment in which many standard processes were in disarray. The programme reported to the GM of IS and other members of ACC’s executive leadership team.
